Film poster idea 2

This idea is somewhat similar to the first one, but I decided to play around with the effects to see that kind of image I can obtain for my poster to get the grade possible. This poster is in landscape form but I think it is better if I use the portrait form for my poster, I will be able to put in the titles and credits, testimonials and billing credits easier.

Making the film poster

This is a picture of me using Abode Photoshop for the first time, trying to design my film poster for 'Evanescent'. I had to take an image of something similar to what I wanted for the main topic in the film, in this case, the symbol of 'Best Friends' being shattered and broken up, possibly through the use of imagery and particularly that of those friendship bracelets that can break like the one in the image below:

This is similar to the image I want to incorporate into the film poster, and have blood splatters to exemplify that all is not well within this friendship.

Film Poster Ideas Image One

For my film poster, I wanted to keep things simple yet contain a message which the audience can understand. For this image, one idea I had was to have an image of something talking about 'Best Friends' i.e friendship bracelets or quotes, like the one in the image above, and then have something symbolising death, or something evil, such as the blood splatter like the one in the picture above. Perhaps putting this image on a background of the woodland or the alley which 'Rosalie' died to symbolise the key themes involved in this film.
